The Acushnet Teachers Association represents the Teachers, Educational Support Personal (ESP), Cafeteria Workers, Custodians, Secretaries, and Nurses who work for the Acushnet Public School system.
The ATA is committed to:
* maintain and improve the quality of education for all students
*unify and strengthen the teaching profession
*provide a closer relationship between townspeople and ATA members
*enable ATA members to form an agency through which their views may be presented

The teachers are still negotiating with the school committee.
All other bargaining units are also negotiating at this time.
Our current contract ended as of August 31, 2007. The Acushnet Teachers Association will continue to work without a contract until we ratify a new agreement.
