The Acushnet Teachers Association represents the Teachers, Educational Support Personal (ESP), Cafeteria Workers, Custodians, Secretaries, and Nurses who work for the Acushnet Public School system.
The ATA is committed to:
* maintain and improve the quality of education for all students
*unify and strengthen the teaching profession
*provide a closer relationship between townspeople and ATA members
*enable ATA members to form an agency through which their views may be presented

It is election time. Make sure you get out and vote on November 4th. We need your help defeating Question 1. Vote NO on Question 1...it's a reckless idea. For more information, check here.

All units have reached agreements with the School Committee that cover us through the 2008-2009 school year.
We will begin negotiations again this fall.
