The ATA Executive board is made up of the President, Vice President(s), Treasurer, Secretary, and Grievance Rep as well as the Building Reps for each building (Ford Middle School and Acushnet Elementary School), a representative from each of the bargaining units (ESP, Cafeteria, Secretary, Custodian). The Immediate Past President and representative from the Bristol County Educators Association (BCEA) also attend Executive Board Meetings. A Parliamentarian, appointed by the President, fills out the Executive Board.
The Executive Board sets policies of the ATA in accordance with the by-laws. The members meet regularly to discuss building issues, finances, and other union topics as needed. Any ATA member is welcome to attend any Executive Board meeting.
Meetings are usually held every 2nd Tuesday of each month. Check back in September for a list of this year's meetings.
